1. Why did JMO UK developed this system?
Traditionally, rowing training has relied on the experience of coaches:
→ During rowing training, coaches cannot obtain real-time, precise and intuitive data of each athlete, every rowing process and every specific item;
→ Coaches can only rely on visual observation of movements and the coordination with other athletes;
→ Only after a certain period of training or competition is over can they summarize and adjust the training strategy.
Therefore, JMO UK developed the Ai Rowing System to solve all above difficulties.
2. What’s this system?
The system includes a oar sensor (including a three-axis gyroscope and two-axis force), a boat sensor (measuring nine-axis and GPS information), and a human body sensor (measuring foot push force and sliding seat movement).
This system is suitable for high-level training scenarios that require precise monitoring of athletes' movements and mechanical characteristics.
3. How does it work?
The sensors collect the athlete's movement data (posture, strength, position, etc.).
The MCU system integrates the data and transmits it wirelessly.
The data is simultaneously sent to the local server and cloud storage.
The coaching team accesses the server data through a dedicated PC.
The system generates visual charts to assist in training analysis.
4. Key Features
● Multi-modal sensor fusion, dual-channel wireless transmission (Bluetooth + 2.4G proprietary protocol)
● Cloud and local dual data storage
● Combination of real-time monitoring and historical data analysis
● Modular design, you can choose any module(s) you need to support your training
● Open for customization solutions
5. Coaches’ comments:
“Thanks for JMO UK’s Ai system, it’s amazing. On my phone, I can see the real-time data of each paddle, eg. the gliding speed, average speed of the rowing boat, the real-time speed of the slide seat, the hull bump/tilt, the pressure on the pedal, and which paddles are the fastest/slowest within one cycle!
At the same time, I can access the server data through the PC end. The system presents the athletes' information in digital or graphical form, and generates professional analysis charts to achieve real-time monitoring of training movements and historical data analysis, helping to master the rowing training data.”
